In the morning of May 8th, 2014, the study tour (Wuhan Stop) of the EMBA students from University of Jyvaskyla (a university of Finland) started. The theme of their study tour was “The Changing Global Economy”.
MBA School had carefully prepared the schedule for them, including a lecture on macro economy of China and the reform of state-owned enterprises, a lecture on the judicial system of China, a lecture on the comparison between Chinese and western culture, a symposium with the leaders of the Management Committee of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone and visits to local enterprises.
Through the two-day-long study tour, the relationship between the two sides has been strengthened, and mutual understanding and friendship has been established.
Professor Haisu Wang: an Overview of Chinese Economy and the Reform of State-owned Enterprises
In the morning of May 8th, Professor Wang gave a lecture to the students and teachers from Finland. He focused on the significant changes of Chinese economy during the past 30 years and analyzed thoroughly the macro economy of China and the reform of state-owned enterprises.
Associate Professor Ling Mao: a Comparison between Chinese and Western Judicial System
In the morning of May 9th, Associate Professor Ling Mao from Law School of ZUEL gave a lecture to the EMBA students of Jyvaskyla on the comparison between Chinese and Western judicial systems. During her lecture, Ms. Mao introduced systematically the legal system of China, the status quo of Chinese lawyers and the characteristics of their profession.
Xiaohong Ye: a Comparison between Chinese and Western Culture
On May 9th, Professor Xiaohong Ye gave a lecture to the EMBA students of Jyvaskyla on the comparison between Chinese and Western culture. Her speech mainly included “what is culture”, “internalization and culture”, “Chinese culture” and “business culture”.
Mutual Visits Widen our International Horizon
As the economic interaction between China and European is becoming more frequent, MBA School is expected to establish cooperation relationship with European Business Schools so as to improve the education of both sides. Our relationship with Jyvaskyla can be dated back to two years ago. And before this study tour, Mr. Ari Manninen (Director of EMBA Program of Jyvaskyla) and Mr. Ari Manninen (Director of MBA Program of Jyvaskyla) had come to MBA School of ZUEL and talked with Lijun Hu (Dean of MBA School) and Hao Wen (Vice Dean of MBA School) over the cooperation on our MBA and EMBA programs.
Dedicated to offering education of social needs and unique characteristics, MBA School has established cooperation relationships with a number of foreign universities. MBA School will continue to strengthen its international exchange and provide an international platform for the students.
